Brought to you by RS PRO, these steel square nuts are a robust solution to fastening applications. With four broad sides, the nut can be easily gripped by pliers or spanners, with less chance of rounding off the bolt when tightening of loosening. They also retain a great level of surface pressure against the surface they are fastening against, which can help prevent unwanted loosening.
These mild steel square-headed nuts are bright zinc plated for an element of corrosion resistance, meaning they are suitable for many applications. They are most commonly combined with square-headed screws and bolts.
