A Jubilee or Hose Clip is a circular band which can be tightened with a worm gears fixed to one end of the band. Tightening the screw reduces the diameter of the circle formed by the band causing the Jubilee clip to clamp tightly around the hose. They are primarily designed to hold hoses onto pipes.
