ESD Grounding Cords & Accessories
ESD grounding wrist straps, or ground bracelets, safely ground the wearer to prevent a build-up of static electricity on their body that can result in electrostatic discharge (ESD). These one-size-fits-all adjustable wristbands are woven with carbon or carbon-filled rubber conductive fibres. Straps designed for consumer use often have a crocodile clip for the ground connection. Industrial straps have a wire and clip attached that connects to earth bonding points or ground conductors in the workplace.
