MCP2221 USB to I²C/UART Protocol Converter Breakout Module
The ADM00559 from Microchip is a brilliantly small factor breakout board designed to show off the capability of the MCP2221 USB to I2C/UART/SMBus protocol converter. This board transfers data of a USB cable to your PC. Microchip provide a free software for you to be able to view and configure your data. The ADM00559's four GP signals can be configured for either GPIO functionality, dedicated function pins or alternate function pins.
Not to mention, Microchip also allows customisation of their software and custom tool creation through a DLL. You can find a download link below.
