Applications

An L-shaped Torx key can have an advantage over a screwdriver as its shape allows you to apply more leverage. As such, a Torx key might be more suitable for heavy-duty application than a typical Torx driver. Conversely, the screwdriver style Torx drivers are able to be used in more confined spaces, and as such are more suited to precision applications.
