From 3M, these Ultratech Earplugs greatly improve the ability to perceive speech, warning signals and machinery noise whilst reducing harmful noise levels effectively. Ideal also for musicians as they provide flat attenuation across the hearing frequencies. The plugs are moisture-resistant and reusable.

Applications

Earplugs are essential PPE wherever consistent loud noise is an issue in the work place. Many work environments can lead to long term noise-induced hearing damage and even hearing loss, and appropriate ear protection is the safest way to guard against this. As such, health and safety requirements often advise earplugs or ear defenders for the following applications;

• Construction
• Stage and Theatre

Do earplugs come in different sizes?

There is no standard size for earplugs and most are one size fits all. However, some manufacturers have small, medium and large.

Can these earplugs be washed and/or reused?

Soft foam earplugs must be discarded once they are dirty. Disposable foam earplugs may not be washed or cleaned. Depending on the working environment and the employee's ear hygiene, these foam earplugs may need to be replaced at the end of the day or possibly a couple of times a day.
